"Size chart was actually accurate??"
I ordered goalie pads and the size chart was close. The fit was good overall, maybe just a little snug at first, but after trying them on for a bit they worked out fine. No big issues??
"Box arrived crushed and barely taped up"
I ordered goalie pads from Pure Goalie, and the box showed up completely smashed, completely smashed. One side was barely taped shut, and it looked like it had been thrown around the whole way here.
The gear wasn’t actually ruined, which was a relief, but there was almost no padding inside, just the pads sliding around in the box. For the price, it felt careless. I emailed them and got a super basic reply, so I don’t think I’ll be ordering from them again if this is how they usually ship stuff.

"Be ready for a frustrating website experience"
Just a heads up for anyone thinking of using this site: it’s annoying to deal with. I had a hard time finding what I needed, and the pages took forever to load. It made the whole experience feel way more frustrating than it should have been

"Pickup was kind of a hassle"
I ordered for store pickup thinking it’d be quick, but I ended up waiting about 30 minutes. The staff seemed a bit mixed up, and my item wasn’t where it was supposed to be. I did get it in the end, but yeah, it definitely wasn’t the smoothest pickup experience.

"Inventory wasn’t actually up to date"
I ordered a pair of goalie pads because the site said they were in stock, and I figured I was good to go. Then a few days later I get an email saying they actually weren’t available. Frustrating, honestly. I had already wasted time looking around and placing the order, and then it was back to square one. The site really needs to keep the stock info updated better, because that kind of thing is annoying...
"Why was the refund so complicated?"
The refund took way longer than I expected. I kept waiting for my money to come back and just kept thinking, why does this have to be so complicated? It eventually got sorted, but the whole process felt slower than it should’ve been.

I had something on backorder, and they did a good job keeping me updated. It did take a little longer than I was hoping, but I wasn't never left wondering what was going on. Customer service got back to me quick when I reached out too. Overall, not a bad experience at all.

I’d say these are decent for the price. The pads look nicer than some of the other budget ones people at the rink are using, but after a few skates the stitching started to feel a little weak. They’re not bad at all, I just expected them to hold up a bit better.

"Checkout wore me out and I gave up"
I tried ordering from puregoalie.com, but the checkout process just drained me. I was already tired, and dealing with a cart that kept changing on its own made it way more frustrating than it needed to be.
The payment page froze on me twice, and I had to keep re-entering my information. After all that, the order still wouldn’t go through. There wasn’t even a clear error message, just that endless spinning screen.
Maybe their gear is perfectly fine, but I never got far enough to find out. By the end I felt mentally worn out, like I’d wasted a bunch of time for nothing, so I gave up and ordered somewhere else.

Ordering pads from Pure Goalie felt more like dealing with an actual hockey shop than some random website. The gear showed up exactly as listed, same brand and model I was expecting.
Shipping took a few days, which seemed normal, and everything was packed well enough. I asked a sizing question before buying, and the reply actually sounded like it came from someone who knows goalie gear.
I’d definitely use them again. Prices felt fair, the whole process was easy, and nothing about it felt sketchy...

"Sizing advice was way off"
I checked PureGoalie’s fit guidance before ordering because goalie gear is expensive and I really didn’t want to guess. For some reason, the size they recommended ended up feeling totally off, like awkward enough that I couldn’t see myself actually using it comfortably.
Maybe their sizing works fine for some people, but it definitely didn’t help me. I was hoping it would make the process easier, and instead I’m stuck dealing with the exact return/exchange hassle I was trying to avoid

"Prices were a little all over the place"
I’ve found Pure Goalie to be kind of hit or miss on pricing. Some things seemed like a fair deal, but then I’d check another site and find a few items cheaper there. The shipping also made a couple of the prices feel less worth it, and that part was weird because the deal looked better at first. Overall, not a bad place to shop, but I’d definitely compare prices before ordering

"Tracking was easy enough to follow"
I ordered a pair of goalie pads from puregoalie.com, and the tracking was simple to keep up with. I got the tracking email the next day, and for the most part I could see where the package was. There was one stretch where it just sat with no update, so I’m guessing it might’ve been waiting to get scanned somewhere, but who knows. It still showed up on the date they originally gave me, so no real complaints. Overall it was a good experience, though I do wish the tracking refreshed a little quicker.
